Playing lots of fun games with my friends keeps me healthy.

This is my cat ninja. He yellow eyes and a yellow spot under his chin. He is chasing a mouse.

The Seven Sisters of Matariki

By the river there was a house of seven sisters. Every year the seven sisters made kites to celebrate the harvest. Each sister made different kites. Red, white, orange, green, pink and rainbow.

The sisters went up the mountain to fly their kites. There was no wind so they tied their kites around the tree and went to sleep.

In the night the wind came and the kites flew into the sky. The little sister woke up and saw the kites shining with the stars.

The kites always shine at Matariki.

Zoo Trip

Last week we went to the zoo. It was fun because we got to look at all of the animals. My favourite animal was the meerkat. I saw them in the tunnel. I loved the zoo.
